Managing Director, Mobile and Electronics
Eddie runs Gentec’s in-car audio and electronics divisions, managing sales representatives across Canada, directing strategy and developing new products. He joined the company in 2003 to lead our in-car audio division, growing it into the extremely successful operation that it is today. With extensive experience and contacts, Eddie also heads up Gentec’s electronics accessories work, including the development of cutting-edge products for the Canadian marketplace like smart home accessories.
Eddie’s love affair with cars began when he was a teenager. Soon after learning to drive, he bought his dream car: a brand new Mustang GT. Eddie got a job installing car audio but soon moved into the distribution of products. He never dreamed that one day he would be managing the distribution of leading brands like Sony and Alpine, as well as developing products for retailers across Canada, including through Gentec’s Ultralink brand. For Eddie, there are few better feelings than seeing something grow from an idea into a product on a shop floor. He completed a degree in Electronics Engineering from George Brown College.
